Attending Yoga sessions at Marg's home studio is a heavenly experience. Mostly I'm a fan of her focus on reminding us to attend to the specific needs and wants of our own bodies. After two months of classes her voice was firmly established in my mind, encouraging me to "check in" with myself and to honor what feels right for my body. Hers is a delightful voice to carry with me everywhere I go. Truly, it was a breath of fresh air to find a yoga teacher (in my neck of the woods) who so thoroughly embodies the commitment to community, connection, integrity and awakening I value as well.

I've had a vague intention to get back into yoga for about 4 years now. I know that I feel so much better when I am going to at least one class a week, and yet I wasn't doing it. However, I was also not being too hard on myself for it (!) believing the time would come. Well, it did, with Marg's Full Moon Gong meditation. It's SO great! I'd only heard the gongs once before but I was hooked! I've now been to 2 Full moon gong meditations and loved both of them. AND, I also finally got back into a weekly class! I'm going to the Yin Yoga class Marg offers on Sunday mornings, and I love it, too. It's very helpful to hear Marg's guidance throughout the class. Having her explain information related to the different poses in different ways, and consistently encouraging each student to pay attention to what is happening in their body (as they slowly and intentionally change into possibly different variations of the poses) has helped me to improve "communication with my body." And, I'm able to do this better in everyday life - this "checking in" with myself. It's terrific that she's in Pflugerville! This has made a difference for me, to be able to go only a short distance from my home to attend a class! I love her class, and that she's in Plfugerville...🙂. It's very clear that Marg is passionate about yoga (and all that it entails) and more importantly helping each student have the best experience they can.

I have been doing yoga for about 3 years, on and off, and I have taken a few different classes at different locations. Marg at Pflugerville Yoga is amazing! Her teaching style is different and better than any yoga class I've taken. While other yoga teachers, and classes, focus on fitness, flexibility, and flow, Marg's classes help to teach you more about your body, and how to move according to what your body wants. She helps to teach her students the importance of preventing injuries, and she assists in the discovery of inner peace. Along with her regular classes, she offers Gong Meditation Therapy which I think was absolutely incredible. I have always loved music therapy, but the beautiful gongs that she plays are a unique experience. The gongs bring peace, healing, and inner exploration to everyone that participates. I highly recommend Marg at Pflugerville Yoga and her yoga classes. The Hatha and Yin classes are my favorites!

I highly recommend Pflugerville Yoga! I have been taking classes with Marg for over a year - Hatha, yin and chair. I really love the small class groups and personal attention. I use the breathing techniques often in my life now. The techniques work great at the dentist for anyone with anxiety! Sunday Yin Yoga practice is what I look forward to in starting my week. Marg is truly phenomenal in instructing this class! She's provides the best guidance and makes sure we understand the poses and purpose, all the while making sure we are gentle with our bodies. Environment is so peaceful and I love when are focusing on sound, the sounds of nature are truly calming. The meditation part of this practice is my absolute fav! Marg has the ability to quiet my monkey mind and focus on just my breath and simply being present! Also I truly appreciate how we end our practice and meditation with tea. We all gather and we all mindfully drink our tea...feels very peaceful and spiritual for me! If you've never tried yoga, (or have)I'd encourage you to try out one of Marg's classes! You'll be grateful you did!

I was a newbie to yoga when I signed up for chair yoga classes. Having had rotator cuff surgery, I was concerned about my ability to do some of the poses. Marg put my fears to rest quickly. Her primary concern was that her students listened to their body. She offered ways to adapt poses when needed. Turns out, I thrived not only in the chair classes but also Hatha Flow and Yin too.
